Jewel-like, cobalt blue flowers pair with beet-red foliage in full sun or dark emerald green in the shade. It puts on a decent display and rarely stops flowering. Despite being native to the province of Sinaloa, Mexico, it is one of the most winter hardy varieties and it slowly spreads by underground runners which pop back up in late spring to early summer
